In response to the national macro‑policy of stabilizing employment and promoting development, and to precisely align with industry technical needs and talent reserves, from April 7 to 13, Wang Zhaotuo, General Manager of Shuiyu Planning and Design Co., Ltd., as a representative of an alumni enterprise, joined a seven‑member delegation led by Wang Yuzhen, Vice President of Henan Water Conservancy and Environment Vocational College, on a week‑long special mission to Hotan, Yutian, and Kashgar in Xinjiang. The purpose was to conduct enterprise visits and job‑expansion initiatives, as well as to carry out inter‑institutional exchange and cooperation with Xinjiang Vocational University. From the perspective of an enterprise partner, Wang Zhaotuo actively participated in the research tours, visiting multiple local alumni enterprises together with his alma mater.
During the visit, the delegation conducted on‑site surveys at several alumni enterprises in Hotan, Yutian, and Kashgar, covering key sectors such as water conservancy engineering construction, surveying and mapping, and real estate development. The team went to the front lines of production to gain an in‑depth understanding of industry development trends, operational models, and talent demands. As a representative of the accompanying enterprise, Wang Zhaotuo drew on his own management experience and actively engaged in the exchange and discussions.
While in Xinjiang, Wang Zhaotuo, together with the delegation, visited graduate representatives working at local water resources bureaus, surveying teams, and alumni‑affiliated enterprises in the region. Vice President Wang Yuzhen encouraged everyone to carry forward the hard‑working and responsible spirit of water conservancy professionals, to hone their skills and realize their personal value in serving the high‑quality economic and social development of Xinjiang.
This research activity, in which Wang Zhaotuo of Shuiyu Planning and Design participated as an alumni enterprise representative in response to the college’s call, further strengthened the ties between the enterprise and the college, as well as between the enterprise and alumni businesses in Xinjiang. It has laid a solid foundation for deepening future university‑enterprise cooperation.
